You know, it can be really difficult being married to someone whose political views are so different than your own. My husband is a Right Wing Conservative. He pratically worships the ground George W. Bush walks on. I, on the other hand, am a Liberal. I hate George W. Bush and his religious propaganda.
I am Pro Choice and he is Pro Life.
I am Pro Death Penalty in certain cases and he is always against it.
I think Abstinance only sex ed sucks. I think our teenagers should be taught how to protect themselves if they should decide to have sex. He thinks that teaching them how to protect themselves is saying it is ok to 'disobey'. I just don't understand what it matters - I mean, if they don't then I'm going to be happy, but if they DO then I want them to be protected. I think telling them that Abstinance is great, and they SHOULD abstain, but at the same time tell them if they DO decide to have sex to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE protect themselves. I'm not worried so much about pregnancy, but more about STDs.
Blah. It's hard sometimes, we argue a lot when it comes to the issues.
Xander is getting pink eye, I think. I'll have to put some breastmilk in it. Yay. I wonder if I should put some in Jamey's too, just in case.
Blah.
